I grew up loving game shows and Trivial Pursuit with my family. Not the prizes - the fun of getting one right together, arguing over answers, and feeling clever for a moment.
Years later, that feeling came back while camping with good friends and a well-worn deck of trivia cards. No phones. No rush. Just questions, guesses, laughs, and fun.
Then my girlfriend and I started making our own quizzes on weekend camping trips. Something to play after dinner. Something light. Something we looked forward to.
Campfire Quiz is my way of sharing that feeling. A simple, friendly challenge that gives people a reason to sit together, think out loud, and enjoy the moment.

👥 Do I need an account to play?
Nope! Anyone can play the current week’s quiz without logging in. If you create a free account, you can also track your scores, unlock past quizzes, and keep your streak alive. You can start on the Profile page.
🗂️ Can I play past quizzes?
Yes. If you create a free account, you can play previous quizzes, see your past scores, and try rounds you may have missed. Visit the Past Quizzes page to explore.
📱 Can I play on my phone?
Yes! Campfire Quiz works on desktop, tablet, and mobile. Grab your phone, tap the link, and you’re good to go.
🏆 Can I challenge my friends?
Absolutely. After you finish a quiz, you’ll see a share button to send your results and invite friends to play. Trivia is better when shared!
💾 What happens to my results?
If you play as a guest, your score for this week is stored temporarily in your browser. If you register, your full quiz history is saved to your account, so you can compare and improve over time.

🔒 What do you do with my personal information?
We only use your email to log you in and send weekly quiz alerts. Your display name is used to say hi when you return and to show up on the leaderboard if you’re a top scorer. That’s it - no spam, no sharing your info.

Head to the Profile page to change the name we greet you with and that appears on the leaderboard, or to turn the weekly quiz reminder email on or off.
